Biography

PhD Candidate & Dancer/Choreographer

After a Bachelor in physics in Slovenia, Lili has split her interest between arts and sciences and has pursued both. Next to two master programs, one in dance at HfMDK in Frankfurt, the other one biomecahnically oriented in technology in sports and medicine in Cologne, she has been deepening her interest for artistic research as an intersection of the two. Through a.pass, post-M.A program in artistic research and Choreographic Research Cycle at P.A.R.T.S., both in Brussels she has established her artistic practice, a site for exploring the notion of body knowledge and how it can be conveyed and shared, especially in times of humans being co-constituted by technology.

Thesis title: Ways of Being Cyborg.
