Biography
Sylvain ILOGA obtained his PhD in Computer Science in January 2018 at the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon. Since January 2010, he has been a teacher in the Department of Computer Science of the Higher Teachers’ Training College of Maroua, Cameroon. Between September 2017 and August 2019, he completed a research and teaching internship at the IUT of Cergy-Pontoise, at Neuville University, France. In January 2019, he was qualified as Associate Professor in France, Section 27 (Computer Science). In November 2023, he was subsequently promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in Cameroon.
From October 2022 to August 2024, he was a teacher at ESIEE-IT CCI Paris Ile-de-France in France. Beside this, he is an associate member of the research laboratory ETIS, UMR 8051, CY Cergy Paris Université, ENSEA, CNRS F-95000 in Cergy, France. His researches mainly focus on data modeling through machine learning using hidden Markov models, with the final goal to design their implementation into reconfigurable architectures.
