Biography
Frantz Tossa is a lecturer–researcher at CY Cergy Paris Université since October 1, 2025, member of ETIS Lab UMR8051, CYU, ENSEA, CNRS. Prior to that, he was a lead trainer on the Cybersecurity Master’s program organized by Polytech Dijon and Greta 21. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2022, prepared jointly by the University of Burgundy and the University of Abomey-Calavi. He was a temporary teaching and research assistant (ATER) in computer science at Polytech Dijon (2019-2022).
His work focuses on wireless sensor networks and the Internet of Things, with an emphasis on sensor placement optimization under coverage, connectivity, energy, and latency constraints. More recently, he has been developing a line of research on communication security in these settings. He is involved in interdisciplinary collaborations and student supervision, with a strong orientation toward real-world applications.
