Biography

Zakaria LEMHAOURI is an associate researcher at the ETIS Lab and a lecturer in robotics and autonomous systems at the ESIEE-IT Engineering School.
 
He received his master’s degree in AI for Robotics from the Sorbonne University in Paris and a joint PhD in Computational modelling of language learning in robots from Cergy–Paris university (CY) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). He conducted his doctoral research at ETIS lab and the VUB Artificial Intelligence Lab under the supervision of Prof. L. Cañamero, Prof. A. Nowé, and Dr. MCF L. Cohen.
 
His research interests include cognitive modeling of language learning in robots, human–robot interaction, and autonomous systems.
