ETIS-CELL seminar – Louis L’Haridon

We are delighted to welcome Louis L’Haridon on Thursday, 26 March 2026, in room D331 (ENSEA) at 4:00pm for the second ETIS-Cell seminar of the week.
Title: Bio-Inspired Frugal and Adaptive Embedded AI for Constrained Systems
Abstract: In this talk, I present my work on bio-inspired and embodied AI models implemented on embedded robotic systems under real-time and resource constraints. I developed artificial mechanoreceptive and nociceptive sensing, neuromodulation-based regulation, and event-driven representations to enable adaptive behavior with controlled computational cost, following an Application–Architecture Adequation (AAA) approach. Building on these results, I outline a research trajectory toward hardware-aware embedded AI for constrained systems.
Bio: Louis L’Haridon is enseignant-chercheur CDD at CY Cergy Paris Université (ETIS) where he study adaptive and, bio-inspired and embedded AI on constrained systems like robots. He teaches class on Embedded computing, Real Time, computer architecture and algorithmic.
The seminar will also be accessible via video-conference:
