Présentation invitée du professeur Yasuo Kuniyoshi, IA encorporée et robotique souple

Dans le cadre du PEPR Robotique Organique, l’axe “Matériau Architecture et Intelligence Incarnée” et le laboratoire ETIS sont contents d’inviter le Professeur Yasuo Kuniyoshi, du laboratoire ISI de l’université de Tokyo.
Yasuo Kuniyoshi est un des pionniers en robotique souple et intelligence artificielle encorporée. Y. Kuniyoshi a pour objectif de concevoir des systèmes intelligents capables de se comporter de manière appropriée dans un monde réel incertain et complexe. Afin de comprendre pleinement les principes de l’intelligence, son laboratoire se concentre sur l’incarnation physique, les comportements émergents, les processus développementaux et la socialité.

il fera une présentation au laboratoire ETIS à CY Cergy-Paris Université, site Saint-Martin, le mercredi 11 juin 2024, amphi Lwoff, à 10h30. Arrivée souhaitée et pause-café à 10h00.

As part of the PEPR Organic Robotics, the Material Architecture and Embodied Intelligence axis is excited to invite Professor Yasuo Kuniyoshi, ISI laboratory at the University of Tokyo.
Yasuo Kuniyoshi is one of the pioneers in soft robotics and embodied artificial intelligence. Yasuo Kuniyoshi’s goal is to design intelligent systems capable of behaving appropriately in an uncertain and complex real world. To fully understand the principles of intelligence, his laboratory focuses on physical embodiment, emergent behaviors, developmental processes, and sociality.

He will give a presentation at CY Cergy-Paris Université, Saint-Martin site, on Wednesday, June 11, 2024, in the Lwoff amphitheater, at 10:30 a.m. Early arrival and coffee break at 10:00 a.m.

A brief introduction to the PEPR  and the Material Architecture and Embodied Intelligence research area will be given just beforehand by Pierre Renaud, professor at INSA Strasbourg and member of the RDH team at the ICube laboratory (CNRS/University of Strasbourg).
